DSA (DISABLED STUDENT ALLOWANCE):
Specific and acceptable assessment to support special considerations, equipment and reasonable adjustments in Further Education
EXAM ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS:
To investigate need for, and provide admissible evidence, for access arrangements for End of Key Stage, GCSE, GCE and general school based tests and examinations.
Designed and conducted to identify, clarify and highlight employees needs and reasonable adjustments which would be effective in specific workplaces and job roles.
Assessments should illuminate the learner's strengths and difficulties. They should be carried out by a suitably experienced and qualified professional who is well able to plan an effective package of assessments, interpret psychometric tests and turn data into meaningful and useful advice and recommendations.
Detailed discussion will allow us to suggest the most appropriate assessment package and gaining background information allows informed choice of specific tests and testing methods - the individual age and specific needs is always taken into consideration. Assessments can be carried out in the learner's home, school or at the Elev8 base.
Elev8 will always provide comprehensive reports and offer understandable, person friendly, feedback verbally or via email. We can also attend meetings at school or in the workplace.
